(a) A knowledge is expected relating to the manner how the shape of eh Sinhala letters evolved and transmitted from the inception of Brami letters in Ceylon up to the 15th Century.

(b) Ability to read the insctiptions with Sinhala ancient letters and figures and a knowledge to the Science in ancient letters and figures is expected.
